Banda-Machos In 1991, 10 young men from Villa Corona came together to form a musical group. At the time, their lead singer was Raúl Ortega, who after 1995 attempted a solo career with this own band known as Banda Arre. Raul had little success with his solo adventdeure, so he decided to return to the band after the turn of the new millennium. His return was short-lived, and soon after he left for good.

Their success came early on in the Quebradita wave. In particular, their second album Con Sangre de Indio (With the Blood of an Indian), which had their hit "Al gato y al raton" made them radio staples during the early 1990s.

Mexican Banda Machos made its debut with the release of a cassette format album called Serían las Dos.
