Born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, twin brothers Raúl and Ricardo Luna are among the best guitarists in Mexico; with an interesting and ample career that has allowed them to successfully put forth diverse musical styles such as Flamenco, Classical Guitar, as well as Mexican and Popular music. They have created a very eclectic fusion between flamenco and classical music, with a unique and original sound.
Their studies and awards began in their native city, through the Universidad Regiomontana School of Music at Monterrey, Mexico. Later, they studied with different teachers of flamenco and classic guitar, outstanding among them: Nicandro Tamez, Teodoro Hernández, Joaquin Flores, Fernando Guajardo, Teresa de Tamez, Joaquin Fajardo, Victor Kolstee, Lorenzo Fernández, Robert Guthrie, etc. Being Scholarship holders of the National Fund for the Culture and the Arts, they played at a series of concerts and tours. Later in 2001, the Government of the State of Tamaulipas honored them with the Prize of the Municipal Council for the Culture and the Arts.

Hello, - came upon this web page by pure luck while searching round the net this evening, and pleased that I did! I do like the layout and colours, but I ought to say that I'm having difficulty when it loads. I'm using Classilla 9 internet browser for mac, and the menu bit won't align the right way. i am convinced made use of the equivalent layout on a customer's online site, but the menu seems O.k. on mine. I have an idea the error is at my end & maybe it's time to update!
