"Always on My Mind" is an American country music song by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson Thompson originally recorded by Brenda Lee.
Allmusic lists over 300 recorded releases of the song in versions by dozens of performers.[1] The most successful US version was performed by Willie Nelson. Successful covers in Europe were performed by Elvis Presley, and later Pet Shop Boys. At the 25th Grammy Awards held in 1983, the songwriters won Grammy Awards for Song of the Year and Best Country Song; in addition, Willie Nelson's recording won for Best Male Country Vocal Performance.
Mireille Mathieu, the French singer, also sang a version of this song, with the title "Tu n'as pas quite mon coeur".
The song featured in the stage musical Priscilla Queen of the Desert – the Musical.
A cover appeared in the 2009 survival horror video game Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, featuring the series's prominent vocalist Mary Elizabeth McGlynn.

Mein Bruder,geboren in den Niederlanden,1956,studierte erst klassische Gitarre in Enschede.
Wegen ein ernsthafte Krankheit konnte er sein eine Hand nicht mehr gebrauchen und studierte dann Panflöte am Konservatorium in Amsterdam.
Er ist einer der wenigen Panflötisten, der ein Lehrdiplom für Panflöte besitzt.
Sein Lehrer war der berühmte Rumänischer Panflötenvirtuose Nicolai Pirvu.
Er lebt seit1991 mit seiner Familie in der Schweiz und ist der grösster Panflötist seit 18 Jahre in der Schweiz, hat ein Lehrdiplom für Panflöte und hat Lehraufträge an verschiedene Musik-und Kantonschulen im Kanton Luzern,an der Pädagogischen Hochschule Zentralschweiz und am Konservatorium Winterthur.
Als Studiomusiker hat er an vielen CD-Aufnahmen mitgewirkt.
Masterclasses wurden von ihm gegeben in der Schweiz wie in Österreich. Er ist Mitglied der PanflötenkomissionSchweiz (PAK). Ständig ist er bemüht,das Reportoire für Panflöte zu erweitern ( Silvestra Verlag)gibt unterricht auf Conservatoria, gibt viele Concerte mit den Swiss Tenors in die Schweiz, Österreich, Holland, Polen und Portugal.
In 2008 hatte er die Gelegenheit mit dem "21st Century Symphony Orchestra mitzuspielen im Stück "The Lords of the Rings-Symphonie"von Howard Shore im grossen Saal des KKL in Luzern.
Eine neue Serie Konzerte fand im Februar 2010 im KKL- Luzern statt unter dem Namen: "The King returns"ebenfalls aus "Herr der Ringe"und mit dem gleichen Orchester.
Aktuel sind die Konzerte mit den Swiss Tenors.
