Regina Orozco (Mexico City, 1964) is a Mexican actress and soprano singer, also known by the nickname "La Megabizcocho". He has participated in productions of various styles, including opera, theater, film and television, especially for his stylized vocal qualities and his flamboyant personality and irreverent. It is also involved in leftist political causes, to the feminist cause and the rights of minorities.
Regina Orozco has become famous for her talent at interweaving personal strength and intelligence in her cultural identity. Her performances often include seamless transitions between several characters, and her one-woman show Rosa Mexicano (Mexican Pink) is rife with dramatic and comedic moments with her stunning soprano voice, spellbinding dancing and spectacular costumes. Rosa Mexicano is Regina Orozco’s most recent show, yet at the same time the oldest – flowing from the DNA of her ancestors.
