The Kelly Family is a European-American music group consisting of a multi-generational family, who plays from a repertoire of rock, pop and folk music. They have enjoyed considerable chart and concert success in Europe and other parts of the world, especially in Germany, the Benelux countries, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, Spain and Portugal. They have sold over 20 million albums since the early 1980s.

For many years, the group presented a unique gypsy image and a vagabonding lifestyle. This was emphasized by their 'ethnic' clothing (such as long floral skirts worn by the female band members), their hair (very long hair even on all the male band members), and also by their travels around Europe in a double-decker bus and houseboat. From Album: "Trio Los Panchos ~ 20 Super Sucessos".   Los Panchos (also Trío Los Panchos) is the name of an internationally known musical trio.

Los Panchos were first formed in 1944 in New York City by Alfredo Gil (Mexican), Chucho Navarro (Mexican) and Hernando Aviles (from Puerto Rico). Each member of Los Panchos played a guitar and sang with unequalled harmony.

Los Panchos reached fame internationally with their romantic songs, especially in Latin America, where they are still regarded as one of the top trios of all time. They sold millions of album copies within a few years of being founded.[citation needed]

Between 1946 to 1948, Los Panchos performed in the United States, including a performance at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.Los Panchos first began touring internationally in 1946. Later that year, Los Panchos moved to Mexico, considered the capital of Spanish-language music where many Latin and Iberian artists have jumped to international fame. They were welcomed with open arms and XEW-AM, the most popular radio station in Mexico City, reserved a time slot for their music. In 1951, Los Panchos launched another international tour across Latin America.

Julito Rodriguez joined the group in 1952; he was replaced by Johnny Albino in 1958. Johnny Albino & Chucho Navarro, (Miguel Poventud and Yomo Toro were studio musicians for CBS) famously worked with singer Eydie Gorme on a series of bestselling albums in the 1960's. The Albino era was one of the most prosperous ones for Los Panchos whose classic albums are very popular among Los Panchos fans still. His departure in 1968 was a tumultuous one, as he did not leave on good terms with the group's management. Alfredo Gil played with Los Panchos until his retirement in 1981 and Chucho Navarro played with the group until his death in 1993.

Trio Los Panchos is currently under the musical direction of Gabriel Vargas Aguilar, the adopted son of co-founder Gill. The new Los Panchos, now based in Veracruz, Mexico, still continue to perform concerts across Mexico, Latin America, and the United States, with a newer cast of singers.  ~ From Wiki

Libera is the third 'public' name for the boys' section of an Anglican parish church choir from South London. The boys are between the ages of 7 and 16. Some boys stay longer to help coach the younger children. As the name has changed at various times during the public performance life of the choir, the name in use at the relevant time will be used in each section.

Origins: Saint Philip's Boys' Choir
Their first appearance in the public eye came when, as the Saint Philip's Boys' Choir, they backed Sal Solo on his song San Damiano in 1984. This led in 1988 to the choir releasing their first album, Sing For Ever, as the Saint Philip's Boys' Choir. The title track for this album was chosen by the BBC as the first Children in Need telethon anthem. Due to the work of the passage of time on the boys' voices, the principal soloist changed at various points during this period, as it has done since. The period when they were called the Saint Philip's Boys' Choir roughly equates to the 1980s. The change of name to Angel Voices came in 1990 to accompany the release of their second album, New Day. Both Sing For Ever and New Day are now out of print. The changes of name of the publicly performing section of Saint Philip's Church choir are to show the different styles of music for new audiences.

Simon Cowell's latest project – which allegedly took two years to reach fruition – sees the impresario hand-pick six of the UK's finest choral singers, put them in a studio with Il Divo producer Steve Mac and record some of the nation's most-loved Christmas songs. The six choristers in question, aged between 11 and 14, all share an undeniable talent and perform wonderful versions of these timeless songs. That they are very comfortable and confident with the chosen material is evident from the start. Whilst not wildly diverse, there's a decent range of tunes, from Sarah McClachlan's "Angel" and "Walking In The Air" through contemporary versions of hymns such as "O Holy Night" and "Pie Jesu" to less obvious interpretations of Enya's "May It Be" and Eva Cassidy's "Over The Rainbow".
